Dinan engineers designed the F55 MINI Cooper S exhaust to improve exhaust flow by reducing back pressure, resulting in increased power output and a great sporty sound that is civilized when you want it to be, and pleasantly aggressive under hard acceleration. Like all Dinan exhausts, our F55 Free Flow Exhaust is engineered to combat low-RPM drone so the cabin of the vehicle is still intimate and not drowned in an excessively loud tone. The system is built with ease in mind and utilizes a simple bolt-on installation with included mounting hardware. It is made from 100% 16 gauge 304 stainless steel and will resist corrosion for years to come. The design features twin 90 mm ceramic black and laser engraved exhaust tips for a tasteful, high-performance look that yields a maximum performance gain of 4 horsepower and 4 ft-lbs of torque. Note: The exhaust system is only offered with black tips as one of the tips is non-functional and would lead to non-matching discoloration over time if polished tips were used.

Disclaimer

Any tuning/performance-based mods/work/quotes and products are strictly for off-road and motorsport use only. Performance mods/certain exhaust systems will cause your vehicle to fail the MOT emissions test, therefore rendering the vehicle unroadworthy and illegal to be used on UK roads. PLEASE BE AWARE – Sports cats can NOT legally be installed on a vehicle for use on a public road that was manufactured after 1st March 2001 unless Type ECE 103R is approved (identified by ‘103R’ in the exhaust product title). Fitting a Cat/Cat Bypass or GPF delete/bypass to a vehicle that is to be used on UK roads will cause the vehicle to fail the MOT emissions test, therefore rendering it unroadworthy and illegal to be used on UK roads.

Please note that UK regulations specify that the nearside and offside front door windows, for which the driver uses for forward vision, and when using external rear facing mirrors, must permit a light transmittance value of at least 70% ( for motor vehicles first used on or after 1st April 1985), with the front windscreen permitting a light transmittance value of 75%

Please note that factory fitted windows are already tinted and by adding additional tinting, this may result in vehicles no longer being compliant for Road use.
