The Forge Motorsport FMTUBL5 has been designed for the Fiat 500, 595, and 695 turbo (this will not fit those fitted with IHI turbo). This turbo blanket is designed to isolate the radiant heat produced by the turbocharger.

This design has been created to withstand the harshest of environments and proven to withstand temperatures up to 2500°F (1370°C) of radiant heat which will assist in protecting and prolonging the life of engine components.

Design innovation keeps the heat of the exhaust gases contained within the hot side of the turbocharger, away from the cool side and the intake path which helps reduce turbo lag and air intake temperatures resulting in more power.

Simple to fit using existing OEM hardware.

Please note that a turbo blanket will lose its flexibility over the first few heat cycles as the material cures, so once fitted it should not be routinely removed as this can cause damage to the blanket.

Disclaimer

Any tuning/performance-based mods/work/quotes and products are strictly for off-road and motorsport use only. Performance mods/certain exhaust systems will cause your vehicle to fail the MOT emissions test, therefore rendering the vehicle unroadworthy and illegal to be used on UK roads. PLEASE BE AWARE – Sports cats can NOT legally be installed on a vehicle for use on a public road that was manufactured after 1st March 2001 unless Type ECE 103R is approved (identified by ‘103R’ in the exhaust product title). Fitting a Cat/Cat Bypass or GPF delete/bypass to a vehicle that is to be used on UK roads will cause the vehicle to fail the MOT emissions test, therefore rendering it unroadworthy and illegal to be used on UK roads.

Please note that UK regulations specify that the nearside and offside front door windows, for which the driver uses for forward vision, and when using external rear facing mirrors, must permit a light transmittance value of at least 70% ( for motor vehicles first used on or after 1st April 1985), with the front windscreen permitting a light transmittance value of 75%

Please note that factory fitted windows are already tinted and by adding additional tinting, this may result in vehicles no longer being compliant for Road use.
