The kit comprises full replacement intake piping made from fully mandrel bent aluminium which is powder coated black. We use only 70mm diameter tubing which will not cause any issues with the MAF sensor readings. The filter is a PiperCross high flow cone filter housed in its own enclosure situated at the front of the vehicle. Everything is connected via high quality silicone couplers and stainless steel hose clamps.

With regard to performance, both rolling road and track testing confirmed that on a standard car the gains were between 3-5hp over the standard air box installation. However, on a software tuned engine, the limitation of the original air box is quickly seen, and gains were in the region of 13-15hp . This was reflected similarly in the torque figures. These gains will be dependent on the performance software installed and of course may be greater dependant on the contamination of the OEM filter.

This product is available with Black hoses only.

*Please note - the Pipercross filter is excluded from the Forge lifetime warranty*

Please watch our video on how to fit an air filter without damaging it.
