Valve Spring color coding: Green - 5-15 PSI, Yellow - 15-23 PSI, Blue - 23-30 PSI, Red - 30 + PSI
*The above figures are estimates and should only be considered as a guideline*

Note: The quoted spring pressure (PSI) relates to the un-assisted clamping force of the spring and should NOT be taken as an equivalent to boost pressure when determining suitability. Once a valve is fitted to a car it is subjected to various pressures that act upon the diaphragm or piston to aid its respective ability to seal or hold boost. An example of this, would be when using a FMCL007P valve on a 1.8T engine as found in the TT 225hp. The boost pressure on a "chipped" car can peak at 26psi. The recommended spring would be the Green or Yellow.

Note: Serious or fatal damage may occur to the engine and associated components if this product is incorrectly matched to the individual engine requirements. Forge Motorsport nor any of it’s Authorised Distributors can assume any responsibility for any adverse effects resulting from the installation of this product.

Disclaimer

Any tuning/performance-based mods/work/quotes and products are strictly for off-road and motorsport use only. Performance mods/certain exhaust systems will cause your vehicle to fail the MOT emissions test, therefore rendering the vehicle unroadworthy and illegal to be used on UK roads. PLEASE BE AWARE – Sports cats can NOT legally be installed on a vehicle for use on a public road that was manufactured after 1st March 2001 unless Type ECE 103R is approved (identified by ‘103R’ in the exhaust product title). Fitting a Cat/Cat Bypass or GPF delete/bypass to a vehicle that is to be used on UK roads will cause the vehicle to fail the MOT emissions test, therefore rendering it unroadworthy and illegal to be used on UK roads.

Please note that UK regulations specify that the nearside and offside front door windows, for which the driver uses for forward vision, and when using external rear facing mirrors, must permit a light transmittance value of at least 70% ( for motor vehicles first used on or after 1st April 1985), with the front windscreen permitting a light transmittance value of 75%

Please note that factory fitted windows are already tinted and by adding additional tinting, this may result in vehicles no longer being compliant for Road use.
